The crypto market is in the red today, with Bitcoin down about 1.8%. This movement is pulling the broader market down, with many well-known cryptocurrencies also losing ground.
Market Overview #
This decline clearly reflects a cautious and wait-and-see stance among investors. The red numbers are broadly visible today, with only a handful of exceptions.
However, the crypto market is relatively calm. Since the low point last week, the price of Bitcoin (and with it the rest of the crypto market) has risen sharply. Yesterday, an attempt was even made to break above the $92,000 mark. This first attempt failed, so the market is still in the red today. At the same time, investors are currently holding good hope for a strong end to the year.
The market sentiment, despite today’s slight decline, is therefore much better than just a week ago. Although the well-known Fear & Greed Index is still at ‘Fear’, the level of fear has decreased drastically in the last few days. Investors are not too worried about today’s decline.

In the altcoin market, we see few major outliers. Coins like Memecore and Quant are moving against the downward trend, but there are absolutely no mega surges. The same applies to the decliners in the market. There are no really hard fallers over the past 24 hours. This is also characteristic of a period in which traders and investors are waiting to see what happens.
Bitcoin is currently trading at around €78,500 (a 1.7% drop) and $90,900 (a 3.4% drop).
