On Tuesday, December 9, GoldRepublic is hosting the international event “The Future of Gold” at Theater Amsterdam. Four influential speakers will gather to discuss the role of gold in an era of increasing inflation, geopolitical tensions, and financial uncertainty.

Gold at Record Highs

The price of gold has seen an unprecedented surge in 2025. Since the beginning of the year, the precious metal has risen by tens of percent in value. Analysts are calling it a historic rally, driven by persistent inflation, a weakening dollar, and rising demand from central banks. Major financial institutions like Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan have since significantly raised their price targets. Gold is once again the safe haven where investors are seeking refuge.

The lineup for “The Future of Gold” is impressive. Peter Schiff, known for his sharp criticism of monetary policy and his early warnings about the 2008 credit crisis, is one of the keynote speakers. He will be joined by Jim Rickards, a former advisor to the CIA and the Pentagon, and author of several bestsellers on money, power, and geopolitics.

From the Netherlands, speakers include Willem Middelkoop, founder of the Commodity Discovery Fund and author of “The Big Reset,” and Edin Mujagić, a monetary economist and expert on interest rates and central banks. Together, the four speakers offer a unique mix of experience, vision, and international reach.

“The Future of Gold” taps into the growing interest in gold and silver as alternatives to traditional currencies and stock markets. In a year where central banks are under pressure and savers are losing purchasing power, the need for long-term security is growing. With this event, GoldRepublic aims not only to celebrate its anniversary but also to answer the question: what role will gold play in the future of our financial system?
